Pinstriping

Can you polish pin stipes on cars or should i tape it off?

 

Yes, you can polish them and they clean up nicely too. The usual caveats about not dwelling too long in one spot, etc. Here's my most recent job with pinstripes:

thanks it just dosnt seem right because it put over the clear coat

 

I've never polished pinstriping but isn't it like a sticker?
