I have been working with this client for a couple months now trying to get a date setup and with the higher temps and clear days this past weekend it seemed like the stars aligned for this one. The owner was a very cool guy and a very avid track guy so the car had more than its fair share of brake dust and baked on stuff around the wheel wells so I would need to spend extra time on those areas and have the car on stands for the wash phase. Other than that the car was extremely clean and only spot correction needed to be done. On with the before pics... 2 Bucket wash DP Soap+2oz of Megs APC Wheel well's need extra love.. Megs APC 4:1 and Sonax FE Clay for the baked on stuff.... EZ Brush on the suspension bits.. Large fender brush on the inside.. OK here is a test to put to bed the Sonax FE VS. BMW private label stuff. BMW goes on clear and foams up pretty good. Cleaned pretty well for only 8 bucks a bottle. SV Autobahn for the wheels and calipers.. SV Pneu on the tires.. Clay.. Uber blue+ ONR clay lube One section of hood.. Car was very clean so only spot correction was needed. Uber blue pad+106FA Only found one deep scratch.. Removed.. A-Pillars needed help.. Menzerna Power Lock Sealant.. Dodo Juice Supernatural for LSP
Thanks Danny the client took 95% of the shots and had no prior detailing write up experience he did an awesome job. Thanks this was only the first time I used it but I rank this pretty highly among my collection already. Thank you sir!
:applause:looks awesome and great attention to detail. I had to laugh when i saw you claying the calipers.
The GT-R looks great. I have a red one to do in March that is rough. I am so looking forward to getting my grubby mitts on it. Gonna use CQ on it.
