Anyone know which version of Photoshop is considered best and easiest for new guys.
Maybe even which elements or Lightroom?

    Thanks!!

I have PS CS3 , but like any version they have a learning curve.
The newer ones just have more "bells and whistles"

If you just want to do minor tweaks to photos, just get Picasa and it's free.
    just my 2 centavos!

i have the cs4 master suite
    but photoshop cs5 is sweet

they're all pretty much the same,
but in cs5 there are some cool new features

there will be a learning curve, but as far as that goes, you can easily get on
youtube and learn your way around the program fairly quickly.

if it were me, i'd go for cs5, but i do a lot of graphic design and whatnot.
cs3 or cs4 will do whatever you're trying to do just fine.

you can always go on the adobe site and download the demo and see
if you like it or not.

I have CS5 master suite and it's pretty awesome. I don't use it much so I don't know all the tricks to it but it was cheap so I figured what the heck.
