Seriously, one of the coolest cars I have worked on to date. The plan was to revive the paint and remove the imperfections. And also provide a nice layer of protection from the harsh elements from our desert. I also wanted to make the car look as wet as possible. I think it turned out great, worth every minute. Excellent job. Looks great. White is a super color. You should add this to the most expensive detail you ever did thread...:applause:
Great work and great write up as well. Just one question in what order did you use wet mirror finish and lusso because the paint looks outstanding and might want to give that combo a try myself. I sometimes use wet mirror finish before a wax but if thats the case i don't use a sealant also. Again awesome work and that amazing car!!!!
Fantastic work. Man, that white was badly swirled. So was the combo first lusso and then CG or the other way around for LSP?
Man it looks great! I have never seen WMF on white but it looks phenomenal! Corey and Rustbucket not sure how Petrucci did it but when I use WMF I do WMF, then Jetseal, then the nuba and have had really stellar results.
Thank you guys! :worship2: Shot those pictures in RAW, wow what a difference and had a friend show me how to add borders. Much more of a presentation now, thanks. I think I read here actually, that it really makes the paint pop when you use WMF last on top of the wax. I think the other way will give it a more warm look. My goal was to make it look wet and slick, so that was route of plan. Jetseal ---> Lusso-----> WMF Thanks again guys.
Well done, vehicle looks great. White is not an easy colour to detail, first you need to go hunting for the swirls and second I sometimes lose track where I have polished that and looking for deep scratches can be a pain too. Lovely vehicle too by the way :druling:
Thank you man, seriously white can be very difficult to spot those imperfections. I have done one white other white vehicle so I knew it was going to be a pain to look for them. But once you get them out, white can actually shine nicely.
