Once I’m all finish with the wheels I spray the car down and then load up my CWG in the foam gun and let it dwell on the car for a few minutes and proceed with the two bucket method. Trunk Before: Out of all the panels on the car, this had to be the worse and required extra time to correct. There were burn marks from the last detailer, heavy swirling and some wet sanding areas that weren’t properly accessed. Trunk After: I use three different products to achieve these results. First was SIP with a orange pad at 1500 to 1800 rpm’s, then when the finish was corrected I finished it up with 106ff on a white pad at 1300 rpm’s thenen finally I jeweled the paint at variable speeds with a blue pad and PO85RD. Taillights Before: These were also swirled badly, and required attention. Taillights After: This was after two passes of 106ff and a white pad. Roof: Again here is another picture of the roof after jewelling process was complete. Lots of clarity and depth in this picture. Driver’s side door before: Driver’s side door after: Passenger’s side door before: Passenger’s side door after: Hood Before Hood 50/50 shot: Kinda tough to see but it’s there. Hood After Like a mirror =) And here a few shots of the final product with no sealant or wax and also a little touch up on the exhaust.. The true shine of the car is all in the prep.
Thank you! I wish my camera would capture a first hand point of view because it looked great! I thought so too, but he tracks this car and those wheels are super light. Thank you for the kind words guys
I agree! Your work makes that paint look so wet and deep, yet the matte wheels are robbing my attention away from the paint! I definitely think he needs the CSL wheels
Oooh love that blue the before and afters look great :applause: I like those rims as well, makes the blue stand out even more. Job well done :chest:
Thank you guys! Personally I would throw some CSL's, a CSL bootlid and some TCKline coilovers and call it a day.
problem with CSLs is that they're really common among the community that mods. they almost look stock ot me now anyways, impressive work!
For sure, I had CSL's on mine too. It's popular because it looks great. So I sold mine, and got something original, OZ Mitos.
Or you could do BBS CH or LM's.. that would be TITS. I LOVE an E46M with BBS LM's and Bremo GT breaks.. :worship2:
thats like saying I'm not gonna use swissvax since it's so common amongst detailers or I'm not gonna drive a BMW, Ferrari, AMG, Porsche since those are too common cars amongst the racing community....... If it ain't broke, and especially if they look AMAZING, don't fix it.... And I had to say that since I have them:applause2:
the carbon fiber diffuser is nice. i dont like the wheels, they look dirty when they obviously arent!
