Is there anything special when polishing a car that has pinstripes like this one had? Do you run the machine over the pinstripes...or just stay away completely?

Thanks guys. Yeah on the pin stripes they are aftermarket added and not painted on. I knew that I would buff them off if I just made one pass. So I taped them off. So, there is still some dull paint around the stripes.
