Was looking for some type of coating to add to my product line with out costing a fortune. On Autogeek i found this product Permanon, it's a nano coating. I looked on youtube for videos on how to apply and found several ways to apply it. Seems that most people want to try different ways to apply to get the best results from the product. Being that said the companys spokesman showed the way it suppose to be applied, use a pump mister sprayer and put a light coat to the vehicle then rinse product off and blow dry or wipe dry with waffleweave towel. With that said has anyone used this product and how did they apply it, the product is coming in on thursday and have a suv on friday to apply it, customer stated wanted something that would't cost a fortune. It states also at 5 percent ratio on 32 oz bottles you will get two vehicles out of product. The cost of product i figured out is very good for me and with one vehicle i can pay the cost of product and cost of labor and be able to purchase another bottle of product, would say not to bad. The product cost $ 20.00 for each vehicle, take shipping cost divide by 4 is how many vehicles i can get out of one bottle of, $ 20.00 plus $ 8.00 shipping is $ 28.00 times that by 3 is $ 84.00 for the coating added. This is how i charge for the service, how do you guys charge for a service like this? Thanks.:thumb:
first off i dont think permanon is a nano coating.so are you looking for a coating[optigaurd, cquartz, etc] or are you looking for a toper?
Permanon is a nano coating, just not what everyone usually considers one to be. It is not very abrasion resistant, which is the down side to it. It is quite resistant to chemicals though. For the best results, I found applying neat like optiseal worked best for durability. The sprayer method is the easiest though sent using my thumbs, mispelling most words
I know its not abrasion resistant, a nano coating is fine for the time being, will drop the $$ on a glass coating next time gathering up clintel who would pay for this service, where i live here economy effecting many here as is everywhere else, people looking mostly just to clean and shine, simple one step polish at best. I will apply it as spray a mist and rinse off and dry, durabiliy at best 4-6 months at best. Thanks, A Quartz looks like my choice of hard coating, seen video intresting looks compared to C Quarta looked very cloudly on surface.
