I agree the Zymol sponge is great but I've tried a sea sponge and that's all I use now, they aren't cheap but they sure work great and boy do they ever last.

    Just my :2cents:

    Thanks for the input guys.
I never tried the zymol sponge, but i have tried the synthetic sea sponge, and it leaves fine scratches to my car. Maybe its a lot different from the natural. i use 2 bucket method and a grit guard.
Any recommended store for purchasing Zymol sponge?

Well the natural sea sponge that I got was generously given to me by one of the members here :thumb: as to where to purchase..um..well there are a few places you can purchase them but most of the stores I've seen are online, such as AutoGeek. That reminds me I need to order a dozen of the sea sponges...not that the one I have needs to be replaced :shakehead: just for back up that's all

As for the Zymol sponge, these sponges are cheap something like $7 or so, I purchased a few dozens of them as to where to get them, well if your in Canada I strongly recommend eShine (Chris) but if your in the US...um..you could always go directly to Zymol...I'm not sure if Phil (DetailersDomain) has these sponges :shead: but I'm sure he can get them for any one here.

fortunately i live in indonesia, which very hard to find good product. maybe if the currency already stable, i would purchase it online.
i have tried purchase from eshine, but they cannot send to my country... oh well... just have to use grout for a bit longer then...

Been a Zymol sponge user for quite a while now, I've heard good things about the Grout Sponge (need to try one)

Current favourite - The DF Concours Peerless Sponge, this sponge is made from a less aggressive form that retains 2000% of its weight in water thus using about half the water normally used with a wash mitt, towel, or foam sponge. It leves a visibly shinier, smoother, cleaner paint than with any other washing medium, machine washable and made in the USA - www.dftowel.com/
