Got to detail one of the flight instructors cars today. The paint was in decent condition just SUPER dirty and plenty of light swirls. So just a really good washing, claying, and a one step correction with Menz SIP followed with 2 coats of Menz Powerlock on paint, wheels and glass.

Great work. What soap did you use? What did you use on all that road tar?

Nice job and nice car. I had a 08speed3 before i bought my STI and it was a awesome car for the cost.

I used a 50/50 of ZEP Fleet Wash (great prewash, high in detergents so it cleans awesome and strips off any old waxes very easily, I like to use it on our airplanes as well) and CG Maxi Suds II.

For the bugs & tar a used CG Grime Reaper diluted 70/30 and let dwell for a few minutes then hit it with a SV Wheel brush.

Wheels were foamed and then hit with the CG Grime Reaper, on the tougher stains and caked on brake dust I had to break out P21S wheel gel.

nice work! I guess you like the Zep Fleet Wash to be mixed with Maxi suds more so than Zep Citrus? If so, maybe I'll check out Fleet Wash

I haven't used zep citrus yet. I use fleet wash because its cheap and safe on paint. I wouldn't recomend it on daily drivers or to use as maintance washes because it really does strip anything and everything off the car. Maybe I need to try zep citrus!
