Iam interested in buying a kit for dent removal as i have dents on my cars. I would like to try it myself as the last spot repaierer left lots of overspray on rims tyres and windows. Does anybody has experiences with that or can recommend me a set? I found those and would like to know the advantage disadvantage of these kits: Dent Hammer Combo Glue Puller Paintless Repair Removal : eBay Motors (item 300439000017 end time Jun-29-10 05:25:16 PDT) Dent Hammer Glue Puller Kit Paintless Repair Removal : eBay Motors (item 300438420165 end time Jun-22-10 03:52:55 PDT) Dent Hammer Glue Puller Paintless Repair Removal PDR: eBay Motors (item 290447161415 end time Jun-21-10 16:56:09 PDT) PDR PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR AUTO BODY TOOLS GLUE PULLER: eBay Motors (item 150396458612 end time Jul-07-10 14:58:40 PDT) GLUE PULLING SYSTEM Paintless Dent Repair Puller PDR : eBay Motors (item 170501657181 end time Jun-24-10 09:36:38 PDT)
all look to be the same except for last one. videos are done by pro who knows what he is doing, im sure with little practice you can acive about the same results. i might even get this to try becouse we have a lot of cars that come with dings and we usualy sent them to place around corner to do this but he has different tools, its more of pushing them out from other side then pulling them. last link looks like idea from TV popadent thing
It would take approx six months practice to become proficient and the tools are a large initial outlay (probably too large for an enthusiast detailer) But if you could find enough of this type of work its a great 'up-sell' to offer clients. I would suggest working with someone recommended by a detail company, as these companies are used to having picky customers who require this sort of service who don't tolerate bad work.
