Well my next project for my car is to paint the rubberized bumpers the same color as my car. I am just wondering as to what I will need for this. I am thinking of this... primer, basecoat, and clearcoat. Am I missing anything?

How porus is the rubber? will you need to sand so the paint will adhere? Just a thought.

You will also need a flex agent to add to the paint since it is a rubber type bumper.

No I don't think I will need to sand this bumper.

    What is a flex agent?

I believe the flex agent is so that the paint doesn't wrinkle? I'm just taking a guess there, LoL.

Actually the flex agent lets the paint give when the bumper is pushed on, like it says it flexes with the bumper to a point, if you didn't add it as soon as you pushed on the bumper the paint would crack.
