I just got a new set of black Karthoums for my GTI yesterday. The wheels were shipped in the OEM boxes, but the boxes were piled one on top of the other. The result seems to be that the cardboard rubbed on the face of the wheel during shipping, leaving some damage to the clear coat. Waxing the wheel makes it look "better" of course, but id like to get rid of the damage in the safest way possible so i can get a layer of opti-coat on them before i mount them. ive never done any polishing before, can anyone recommend a starting point? this is the wheel in question, apologies for the poor pic, its very hard to capture the damage
