Well as Calgary said I will have a few once they arrive.

I ordered the PosiTector 6000 and the 200 and I currently have the Pro Guage II (it's a mechanical type of gauge and only meant to go on metal).

What type of gauge are you looking for? Most importantly how much are you willing to spend becuase they are not cheap.

Nica, did you look into the PTG-3500 at all?

Yup, I read lots on it and spoke with a few detailers that use it. I heard good things about it, but most that owned one didn't like it too much. They said there was something to the feel of it in your hand

From what I read about it, it compared to the PosiTector DFT...they are about the same. Acurasy is not bad, but that gauge wasent for me as I wanted higher acuracy then what this gauge offers. Oh one thing that was mentioned about it in comparison with the PosiTector is the display screen, it's small and can be a bit hard to see but that's about all the brad things I heard about it. There was one person who I spoke to that went from the PTG 3500 to the DFT and said he liked the DFT because of how it felt in his hand and how the display was abit larger...he also comented on how he droped it a few times and it actually did not break. Apperently if you hold on in your hand they feel a bit fragile, but it sure takes a beating. He didn't say anything about the PTG 3500 though, in regards to droping it

That's about all I know about it though.

Nope, sounds to me like a reasonable gauge  I don't know if anyone here has one but if they do would love to hear there opinion on it :thumb:
