I seem to remember that a site offered CCS pads for fiberglass. Is there really a such thing or will the low profile/CCS pads work?

My friend has a 70 GTO that has a fiberglass hood and bumper. My brother has a fiberglass hood on his 63 Nova and I'll be detailing both of these monsters this spring. Thanks for any and all advice.

To be honest I don't think there is a difference, I've polished some fiberglass panels with just regular pads, not CCS pads though but Meg's polishing pads and 3M pads and I didn't have a problem, polished just like a regular panel on a vehicle.

Well that's just my experiance  hope it helps.

It sure does. I think what I saw was just advertising to get the customer to buy more pads.
I can't wait for spring. Even though we're having spring like weather in Jan. So very odd.

When I did the Lotus I used regular CCS pads, the entire car was fiberglass, just keep the revs low
