I am trying to find the right pad and compound combination for my car. I have a 2006 red Honda S2000. It has light swirl marks and nothing that appears to be very deep. I have heard that S2000's have very soft paint and wanted to get the right combo for the car! Since they are light swirl marks i would like to remove the majority if not all of them. I do not know if any correction has been completed previously. When i purchased it used from the dealership they said it was "detailed" but i do not know what that includes. So what should i get?
Sounds like a finishing pad will work well (blue or white) with a finishing polish. A pic will help us evaluate it even better.
I have a black 2002 s2000 and use a white lake country with menzerna super finish and there is no need to do anything else. just lsp it and it will look terrific. keep it out of the sun, soft paint on that car. godoman
Menzerna 203S paired with some Green Ubers will do the trick use light to moderate pressure in the areas needed to correct, then just ease up on the pressure basically let the pad float on the the finish (zero downward pressure) to remove any marring induced during the correction and you will be left with an LSP ready finish.
