this used to be my go to wash..i hadn't used it in quite some time trying all types of car wash shampoo..in the end i fell in love with p21s i used a lil more than the 3 cap fulls (should have just uesed 2)and it didn't remove any wax..the car still sheeted and beaded well after 4.5 months..great lubricity. and zero damage on an extremely salty 335. took 2.5 hours just to wash her and do the wheels and door jambs and the interior glass on the doors (coupe).

really love p21s and don't understand(besides cost) why others don't use it.. i find it is way way better than cwg or cwc.. it rinses off much much better and cleans extremely well without removing wax. wish p21s had a gallon size.

it realy deserves more praise as a super safe wash with great lubricity..super safe b/c it doesn't take lsp's off easily. i wouldn't use it will a foam cannon..but i haven't used my foam cannon in like 6 months.. if i wasted money on anything in detailing it was that and the pressure washer setup..just a pain if you don't have a constant hookup.. and you risk issues with trim and so on..plus nothing ever got any cleaner with the pressure washer.. it took about twice the time to rinse..so i put it away for the winter.. when i move and have it hooked up properly ok..but for now a heated garage with a great hose with hot and cold water capability i will take it. hell it was like 80 in my garage last night..it was 3f outside..the wood on the garage door had condensation all over it i had to wipe it down several times.. i filled up a ubar ww towel three times..it is a 2.5 garage door.. once i opened the garage the whole place turned into a scene out of a movie like i had 30 foggers pumping fog in.. i love it when that happens.

just thought i would add my:2cents: on the p21s shampoo though.. i need to order some more..i see why i used it for like a year straight. the stuff kicks ass in a safe way..not to many shampoo's do that..swissvax car bathe is very similar in that regard.. between those two i doubt i will want anything else besides some cwc in the foam cannon once in a while or when i strip all the lsp's off..but for maintenance.. p21s rocks. swissvax is right up there too.

I agree Purplewidow. P21S Shampoo is hands down the best carwash shampoo available today. Although there are some very good shampoos ( I really like Poorboys Superslick & Suds) the slickness of the P21S soap is unmatched. I only put 2 cap fulls in as well because 3 means I'll spend half an hour washing all the foam off my driveway.

Sounds similar to Optimum Shampoo! Lots of lubricity and slickness, lots of snow foam, and it stays in your driveway after you are done for quite a while (24+ hours).

P21S was my 'go to' car shampoo for a few years, until I started using CG CWG. I always thought it was a great shampoo as far as cleaning and lubricity. I think downside to it is the cost and the small bottle size (purplewidow is right...this stuff definitely needs to come in gallon containers!!!) I prefer CG CWG over it now. At the correct concentration of 1/4 oz/gallon, I have never had an issue of stripping the LSP with CWG. Plus the cost is great!

I have tried a lot of different shampoos, and P21S is definitely one of the best. I also experimented with shampoos, such as using a mixture of different ones in the same wash bucket, taking advantage of there unique properties. If my vehicles are exceptionally dirty, I use 4 gallons of water with 1oz of CG CWG, 1 oz ONR, and 1 capfull of P21S!! Its a very cool mixture imo and cleans extremely well.

I guess I'm like some others and have bee off and on with P21s shampoo. I can't remember where, but there were some folks that were so-so on it. Actually, it's been a while since I used it and have a new bottle in the aresenal. I always thought it cleaned very well. Not as sudsy as an Adam's or DG washes, but great lubricity and cleaning ability.
