If im working on a vehicle with minor to medium oxidized paint on some areas is it safe to say sip with a orange pad will do the trick. Ive only done one other car with oxidation before. How thin is the paint in those areas? Just want to use the least aggressive...whats the best way to go?

With my experience on 2 horribly oxidized cars, I found that I needed 2 hits with my PC to get the correction level I wanted. One hit to remove the oxidation, another to correct

I got through it and corrected it by using Prima Swirl and orange on my PC. Swirl is very similar to SIP in my experience. Go least aggressive method first since the rotary is obviously more powerful. If I were to do it again, I would go white + Swirl/SIP on my rotary or something like that :)

+1. I'd probably try white pad/SIP first. But you are probably going to go to green or orange/SIP.

thanks for the tips i will give that a try when i get to work this weekend. i was kinda leaning towards that too since it worked out ok for me last time with the green pad and sip, but least aggressive first so hopefully the white pad + sip does the trick.
