SO, I have a gallon of Meg's D101 APC but was wondering if it would be worth it to get a gal. of power clean? Does it work any better than D101? It's also safe on paint, anyone know if D101 is?

    TY.

I never had any issues using Megs APC on paint...It works well enough for me. For LSP stripping I prefer MS SGS APC though, it is stronger, yet safe. As far as Power Clean, I never really felt a need for it.

I have used Megs APC 1:4 against Optimum PC 1:3 and they seem to have about the same cleaning ability on some tires in two separate uses. That is, neither seem to stand out.

I have some MS Green stuff and plan to try that as well. From what I can tell, people are diluting SGS too.

    I cut mine 3:1 (water:SGS).

I've noticed that even @3:1 MS SGS is stronger then Megs APC straight.

Does it harm chrome or factory coated wheels? How long do you let it dwell on tires. I plan to use it soon.

Hi-Temp's Extreme Clean is also very strong in comparison to Meguiar's APC. It is safe for use on all wheel finishes.

I have both. APC+ for interiors and Power Clean for exterior use. Works well enough for me :)

I would have to make my desicion on which one was more readily available. For me I can pick MEGS APC at my local paint supply shop, usually the same day. I hear great things about OPC though.
