Guys, I'm looking to purchase a new wheel cleaner. I know most of you including myself have used P21s wheel cleaner with favorable results but how would you compare it to the Optimum Power Clean? I'm looking for the same results from a different product that is more multi purpose.
Although pricey, the P21S is a great and very safe wheel cleaner. I bought the 5L from Phil and I still have tons left. I only use it for high end wheels though, never for "normal" wheels.
I use P21S all the time. I love that stuff. That being said, I've never used the Optium, and prob ably won't anytime soon since the P21S has done everything I've asked of it so far.
i started off into this whole detailing obsession with the p21s full kit. Then I got a full litre refill of the wheel cleaner. Expensive, but yes good. Optimum Power Clean is good too. and because it is concentrated, you can dilute it according to the strength you want. It is not caustic , never had any harm or damage caused to my wheels. It is cheap and economical, and has many other uses , when diluted properly. eliminates the need for a separate apc for interior cleaning, bug tar remover, etc. the list goes on. I am very happy with it , and will use it again, when my gallon ever runs out, which I think will take years lol. go for it , you wont regret it.
Well I've spoiled my vehicles with P21S Green version and now I have the UK Red version :thumb: I haven't tried the Optimum product but I'm very pleased with P21S and I'll continue to use it, what I like about it is that it's safe and I don't need to worry about damaging any of my wheels but that's just my :2cents:
Is there any other wheel cleaners that are 100% safe? P21s is a little pricey for me...I was thinking of just using an APC like Kleenol
Um...:shead:...I don't see why not I would have to pour it to another container though but it depends on how much you want  Besides when I order items I think of my fellow detailers, meaning if I got it I'm more then willing to share it. Um...hmmm... to me be honest I can't recall how much it cost me..but even with the exchange and shipping I "think" it was less then the green version we can get in the US...but don't hold me to that because i would have to look at the paper work again to see if my statement is true or not :shead:
The red version is actually from Germany and not from U.K. Bilberry is also a very good wheel cleaner.. You can find it at Scandic Shine AS, or just PM Pirex...
