Hey DB, So I am almost done polishing and plan on applying opti coat V2 as my lsp. Couple of questions that I cant seem to find the answer to though: Do you wipe the panel lightly with a MF after you apply even if you don't see high spots? It looks like the complete cure time is 24hrs, do I need to wait that long before I drive the car? Also on an unrelated note black 2011 Ford paint sucks. The polish residue is a real PITA to get off.
No need to wipe with mf if no high spots.... You can drive the car, no need to wait 24 hrs The best application method I have used is to put the oc in a small cosmetic spray bottle. Spray the oc on a mf pad and apply.....easy as pie!
