Opti-Coat on Metal

Has anyone used opti-coat on metal (Polished SS?) How did it work and any issues using it...looking to use it on my new exhaust tips to keep them clean and protected but dont know if it will really bond to metal well.

 

i havent but...i wanted to use it on my polished raw aluminum motorcyle wheels and chris said would work fine

 

Ankeet have you considered Blackfire all metal sealant?

 

Have some but also have some Opti-Coat so I thought eh why not see if I can use that...

 

I did the polished (uncoated) aluminum wheels on my 240Z and it worked great.
