Currently for my personal cars I use CG VRP Or Prima Nero, but I prefer VRP.

I like the look, and the ease of application with dry to the touch results. I am almost out, and looking for a replacement to change it up, i am interested from people who have used either or both what they think.

    1) consistency of opti bond
    2) easy of application
    3) overall look
    4) is it dry to the touch
    5) longevity measured in washes, not time ( I wash my car once a week)

    Thank you

I have used opti-bond. It is my go to dressing for my Camaro. It is more like a gel consistency, but not completely like a gel such as Megs endurance. It is super easy to apply especially once you have primed the applicator. One the applicator is primed, you will hardly use any product. The look when first applied is a glossy satin look, but when it dries ( 5 minutes) it is a satin-matte look with little or no gloss. After you apply it and let it dry, it is completely dry to the touch. I've had 0 sling issues with it. I wash my car once a week too, and it has lasted me anywhere between 2 to 4 washes depending on how much rain I get in between washes. Hope that helps on your decision.

Do you have any pictures? sounds like a cross between endurance which i use on my suburban, and VRP........

Surface cleanliness is key when I use OB, but I'm sure you already knew that Kilo. I spray it on liberally at 1:1, wipe it in and around with an applicator, and then generally follow up with another coat sometime in the next hour. It still beads for me after pressure washing the next time, but I always reapply so I can't really give a good estimate on durability.

yes, I apply weekly too LOL.......... so I guess durability is not as much a factor as looks. sounds like it soaks in real good.

Yup, actually applied 3 coats yesterday to some old worn tires on a nissan pickup truck because it just kept soaking in.

I agree. I applied it for the first time on the van that probably never had tire dressing before... and it soaked in ALOT of the opti-bond. Now the tires look great. But the first coat didn't do much at all.

I have both and would have a tough time choosing between the two. I say you cannot go wrong with either, and my tire dressing tests showed similar results with both.
