Well today did my wifes car with a onr wash, mixed with hot water just used 2.5 gals of water, used my gloves and dressed warm, temp 39 wind blowing at 15 to 20 mph, any way wash came out good, took about 35 mins, with wheels done. Polished windshield with poliseal. The tires i used opti-bond tire gel in a misting bottles at 1:1 on driverside and straight on passengers, just trying to find the best method for me. After 30 mins the spray side came out nice and satan shine and dryed well with the wind blowin. The other side came out nice too, nice matte shine. Well out of the both ways of applying like the spray way of doing it, less product used, applying it with a foam pad straight uses more product, I will see what the duribiliy will be now. A product that I like to use now..how do you guys like this product and why? Thanks :applause2:
It's not bad for a gel, cannot quite decide if I like this better than VRT or not. I just apply it straight with a foam applicator.
I still need to try my Opti-Bond since I just got it in. I did wash my girlfriends Scion TC on wednesday with ONR as well came out looking great it was about 45 degrees when I did it. Also thanks for the products Phil.
I like the spray then using a paint brush work it in the cracks and small areas. I dilute 1:1 or even 1.5:1, I like it, and dont see any need to change
i dont like optibond by itself, i mix it with white pearl or with PB bold and bright. comes out more like a liquid and a lot easier to apply. looks like it stays on better i mix it on applicator not in bottle
Try 2 coats sprayed 1:1 if your looking for durability, most of my customers I see 3 weeks almost 4 depending a lot on conditions of course and on most tires I like the look of 2 coats better as well
