    Chris,

I've been using this product lately and I'm really happy with it. It has good cut and it doesn't dust as much as M105. I LOVE the long work time. There's one thing that I'm not a fan of ... the spray bottle. IMO, the compound is too thick for a spray application. Have you heard complaints about this issue?

Another question not related to the topic ... are you guys working on a paint decontamination kit? I have heard rumors of a product, but I haven't seen anything yet.

Thanks in advance for your response ...

  2. GDAL,

Yes it does seem that some customers have had sprayer woes. I cannot consistently reproduce the problem though. The sprayers we ship with Hyper Polish & Hyper Compound are "shipping" sprayer which completely close. I can only speculate that the sprayer is not open far enough. In the shop, we open the head fully and then find a good pattern and then never close the head again (kind of set it and forget it). We have had samples than sit here and are used infrequently and every time we go back to use them, one quick pull and we are in business. The other necessary thing is to shake the product very good prior to using and give it another little shake before each spray. Another option you have is to transfer the product into a bottle and use it as a traditional polish. Although this method will not prime the pad as quckly as the sprayer, it can certainly still be used this way (make sure you still shake it well).

I will give you guys new product info as soon as I am permitted. I really didn't like the rumor mill that started when talks of Opti Coat surfaced months before we were ready to release it...so, all I can say is that everything in the works will do exactly what it claims and fill a void that we see in current offerings. By the time a product is ready for prime time, we still have about 3 months of package design and production involved so I can probably tell you about them by the time we order the labels.

I will try your recommendations next time I use the product.

Can't wait to see what you guys bring to the paint decon market!!
