ONR wash from a little while ago, about ready to be done again.

    1. Pre-spray panels to knock any loose crud off

    2. Dip wash media in ONR solution, then proceed to gently wash the panel

    3. Put wash media in rinse bucket and knock off debris/dirt/grime. You'll notice the media is very dirty, but do not worry because it comes off extremely easy in the washer. That is just ONR trapping the grime.

    4. Dry car with thick microfiber towel, gently. Repeat all processes until truck is clean, and admire.

Right side clean, back end dirty

Hints: I find it easier to wash one panel at a time. I also find it safer to wash one panel and overlap on to the next panel a bit, then dry only the full panel you've washed so you aren't wiping the drying towel over dry grit and grime.

Here's some shots after completion, along with my new LED lights for the interior.

Wash media is Shag Rag from Obsessive Detail and the drying towel is a Peak Drying Towel from Pep Boys. I've been having trouble finding the green towels again. I love them.

do you always not use a grit guard in the wash bucket, I always seem to run out of solution just as I am finishing my truck, I usually mix up 2 gallons an dsome hoe seems to dissapear, do you use 2 gallons of wash for your xterra?

I would up refilling and using about 3.5 gallons. I don't use a grit guard because I never get that low on solution without refilling. ONR has some sort of ability to keep grit at the bottom of the bucket easier than soap solutions, I think it has to do with water softening attributes. No grit guard is safe for the wash bucket.

Looks great. I did my first ONR wash today and was very impressed with the results as well as the fact that I used less than a gallon of water.

  7. I always use a Shag Rag or the OptiMitt. Great job, thanks for sharing your positive ONR experience.

Nice work. How safe is that drying towel from Pepboys, I saw it for $7 yesterday its like a forrest green looking one. I also picked up some LED license plate bulbs for my Mustang Gt they are alot better than the nasty looking ones from the factory.

I like the towel a lot. Jason from Deep Gloss Auto Salon used/uses them and likes them. How many of them did you see at Pep Boys? I've been trying to get more and can't find them.

I use to have one and use one as well but mine had a bit of an accident when my roommate dropped it on the wet ground in the parking lot and picked up too much crap that would not be all take out...

I did get a CG Wolly mamth from someone and is very similar but cost alot more.

Like 2 or 3 I think man I can check again soon and let you know. I wanted to get some for my little brother because he doesn't have a drying towel for his 06 Jeep Wrangler, and they looked and felt soft. I held off because I just placed an order for 2 Showroom FX WW last week and didnt have much cash. The FX WW are on back order which sucks because my Detailed Image WW towels are coming apart from the silk edges and I dont know how much longer they are going to last. So I might pick 1 or 2 up from pepboys this week for the mean time.

If I go get one this week I will pick one up for you, and PM you asking for your address man. I think it will fit in one of this flat rate plastic padded bags from USPS. Use some of that $75 they sell some Autoglym products and some Lexol products which are not bad. The rest are as you know so so products. I have also purchased some of the small yellow foam hand applicator pads 3 pack which are sealed from them. So they are good go for applying sealants and carnaubas they seem to be the same as the ones alot of the online stores sell.

That'd be awesome, thank you so much. We'll trade paypal accounts and all that jazz. Pep Boys also carries Surf City Garage, which has great stuff like Tire Pro, Grime Destroyer, their wash and spray detailers. Let me know, thanks again.
