I have not used any of the products from them..but I want to try the Nano Shine glaze....has any one tried it and if so whats your opinion on it....as good as ez creme glaze.... AL
I have been lookin at some of their stuff, I think my next order I will include a few things from them one being their Voodoo
I have tried MANY of thier products and have yet to find one that dissapoints. Actually every product of thiers that I have used has found it's way into my regular rotation. Some of my ultimate favorites thus far include: Tire Pro - Dressing Beyond Steel - Rim cleaner Grime Destroyer - Bug and Tar remover Speed Demon - quick detailer (nuba) Hot Rod Detailer - quick detailer (sealant)
I didn't really care for their performance; the Nano Shine and Nano Glaze. I used Nano Shine by itself as a sealant, let it dry for 15 minutes and it was impossible to get it off ... I used OCW which took care of it but still a pain. Then I was told I was supposed to apply the Nano Glaze over the Nano Shine to help remove the Nano Shine, again it was a pita. Working with these two LSPs wasn't all that great. The Shine and Glaze combo wasn't anything spectacular looking either. Nano Shine with OCW to remove (SSR2.5 w/ an orange cutting pad as a polish, then Nano, then OCW): Nano combo: The other Surf City products I've used was the metal polish (liquid form of Semi-chrome polish) which was nice, the Beyond Black tire dressing is very nice, and the QD is similar to FK425. I also have some I could send you if you'd like ... I don't think I'll be using them again...
Autogeek has the whole line on sale. I tried Surf City leather conditioner and liked it. It offers cleaning ability. It also has beeswax in it, helping seal leather from spills 9easier cleaning). I would not recommend it for perforated leather though, beeswax will clog it. Glass cleaner works really well too.
The primary advantage of SC cleaner is that it is alcohol free so safe for plastics, etc. A 2 liter jug is like $10.
Exactly.... I know the AG site at one point listed it as a gel - this is incorrect. It is a very watery spray... I think the smaller size comes in a squeeze bottle.. using it in a squeeze bottle is not the best way to use it... you will end up using WAY more product than you need A spray bottle and a foam applicator is the way to go with this product. 2-3 sprays on the foam applicator for the 1st tire - 2 sprays every subsequent tire (17" tires)
Jason turned me onto this line. Here is what I have tried... Glass cleaner - Great cleaner, no streaking. RT Grime Destroyer - Makes quick work of bugs/grime, I love this stuff. Beyond Black - Great tire dressing. Easy to apply, a little goes a long way, water based and looks great. A+ for those products, not sure about the rest
Beyond black is the only product I've tried from this line and it is definitely great. I like the way it makes my tire look black without too much gloss. I will be sure to try more of their products.
What is the durability like with the tire gel two weeks has been the benchmark for sometime which is ok The one great point about using wolfgang tire gel in the past was that the tires never went brown, back to how they were before the application
Not bad, I am about to try swissvax pneu, it claims to be non silicone which is what I want. I am aiming to find or mix up a gel that lasts for one to two months without gloss loss (on soft tyres)
i really like DP tire gel for that. Wolfgang and Pinnacle quite nice too...Meguiar's Endurance high gloss seems to fade the gloss after about a week.
