OMG ONR! Where have you been all my life!?!?!?!

Ok, I know this has ben discussed millions of times but I am simply blown away by ONR. This stuff emulsifies just about anything. I did a ONR wash today, at night, in the garage with two gallons of water and plenty left over. No rinse, no runny water drips, no blow drying, no streaks, just spotless finish. It did however require quite a few MF towels to get total streak free dying. I was really skeptical about ONR before using it but I'm now totally converted. :headbang:

I keep it on the shelf 1:32 in a spray bottle for quick spot cleaning of just about anything. Spray with ONR let it sit and dab off with MF. OMG, unreal.

I didn't believe it could emulsify bird bombs, I was wrong.

I didn't believe it could emulsify grease, I was wrong.

I didn't believe it could clean wheels effectively, I was wrong.

I didn't believe it could work as a window cleaner, I was wrong.

Can't wait to use it as a clay lube, I'm sure it will exceed my expectations.

What else is this stuff really good at that I'm missing?

If I do ONR wash + blot dry it seems to get dusty easier compared to if I ONR + drag dry.... Anyone else have this problem ?

    The amazing smell!!!

But sounds like you wanna marry it :)
It's amazing stuff though. Better than any other QD out there.

    Welcome to the believers club.:worship2:

Did you get streak free results when used as a glass cleaner? I tried diluting at many different ratios and was never able to get streak free results no matter what type of towels I used. It looked good initially, but under certain lighting I could see smearing. Care to elaborate on your process?

Also, for those of you guys that have used the new formula, does it lose it's color when mixed for say QD'g? The old gallon that I have seems lose the color when I dilute it. It becomes light blue/ opaque after a few days.

I noticed the mixture in my sprayer lost color after a week (new formula).

I'm using it at 1:32 but "scottwax" has noted that he uses it 1.5:32 and also adding 1 part denatured alcohol for "extra cleaning power". Spray directly on windows then wipe down with MF and follow with second dry MF to pickup any leftover trails. I did all windows inside and out. I am using it on windows that have been sealed on the outside with DG111.

I didn't get any noticeable streaking but I did this last night under halogens. I will check it in the sun today.

As a clay lube dilution it is pretty nuts. I use it for door jams and stuff as a cleaner, but have yet to do a "waterless" wash with it...

I also use it for the interior of the car....a couple sprays into a microfiber per area (diver side, passenger side, etc) and it does a great job of wiping down any interior plastics, wood trim, door handles from fingerprints, smudges, etc. It leaves a nice matte finish and at the same time you can hit the rear view/visor mirrors if need be.

So many uses for the product.

I use it at QD strength to clean my ashtray. Also keep a bottle at QD strength just to quickly wipe things down, my leather chair at my desk, my TV, my laptop, my PC screen, etc.

    It makes Windex look over-priced.

Drove it today and it was fully sunny out in SoCal, no streaks or haze this is my new goto glass cleaner. So many uses for ONR, I'm enlightened. :meditation:

Mine doesn't, but the old formula did. Chlorine seems to kill the color. When i use distilled water the color wil not fade even with the old formula.

Good point - I should have mentioned the mix is with tap water not distilled. Despite the fact that the color faded it still works just as well.

ONR is plain awesome. I could not run my detailing business without it in California with the restrictions on water and the fact that you need no running water means you can clean anywhere. Heck, I haven't used anything else on my car in 3 years (black Saab 900, Z hasn't had a wash yet) and it works each and every time.

Mmmmm saab 900 turbo. The memories..... Great car, has charter, the Z is a beast but the Saab is your best friend. Am I right?
