I know a doctor that has a 525i and took it to the Bimmer dealership to have some overspray removed, and of course when it came back, it had buffer trails all over the place!! He told me that they would wash off.....
LOL i had to go to court yesterday, while walking through the parking lot i see a brand new and i mean with dealer plates and all infinity. it was black of course, and it was 20x worse than that. i had to give the guy my card. i told him, i cant walk by and see such a nice car looking so bad. he was like i just picked it from the dealer and they detailed it for me. we'll see if he calls. but i think they teach buffer trail installation at all dealerships now??
I've been casually shopping for vans in order to possibly go mobile. And every last one of them - ALL of them - they're all a festival of buffer trails. One of the sales guys at a dealer even told me, "we just had it detailed!" I was tempted to suggest that he might want to fire his detailer.
That's because those newbie are educated and certified... I tell them to use that certificate in a bathroom instead of toilet paper...
