Sorry in advance for the long rant/vent, but yesterday at work I had a suprise interior detail come up. No one trusts our shop's clean up guys, so I am always called upon to clean employees' cars. Yesterday it was a 2012 Chevy 1500 that had been to the beach and mudding, with a husky lab mix. There was mud from one end of the cab to the other, and the dog hair had seemingly sewn itself into the seat. Loaded with a bottle of actual windex and car wash soap, a dirty shop vac and two rags, I went to town. The "interior cleaner" at our shop is a solvent based degreaser so, that was out of the question, clean microfibers don't exist here so I had to use actual shop rags. For the hair I had to use the best thing available, masking tape. After two hours, I went home and had a whole new appreciation for everything I have at home to detail with, From my rupees, to my steam cleaner, my vacum, all the way down to a clean microfiber. My arsenal has spoiled me
