Pozzi Blue is possibly one of my favorite Ferrari colors, as well as Tour De France Blue, and it fit perfectly for this F355 Spider. A major correction is a bit of an understatement for this vehicle, it also needed a deteriorating clear bra removed from the front end. I am very, very behind on posting new correction jobs, but for good reason! None the less, I was very happy with the end result of this four day clear film removal and correction project. The pictures certainly do the talking here! The clear film before removal, as you can see the orange peel effect was rather drastic and the film looked rather aged for being six years old. I am unsure of the brand, only understood to be installed in 2006 when this 355 was already six years old. After removal, it was clear the paint work was not corrected prior to install, as you can see here. After all film and residue was removed, the thorough prep process was commenced and the car stripped of any contamination or protection, revealing the true condition of the paint. Not for the feint of heart, nor Ferrari enthusiast! After approximately 18 hours of paint work, the condition was restored to nearly perfect, with the exception of the front end which suffered some light peppering but no major rock chips. Which can be noticed in this before and after photo of the driver side portion of the hood. Which was not protected by clear film. Also, the results of the paint work after multiple steps of light compounding and polishing, before protection was applied. As well as a few sunlight snaps after the dual layer of sealant was applied Some gloss/reflection photos of the finished paint Overall profile photos of the completed vehicle, Pozzitively Blue now! Any and all feedback is welcome and appreciated! Thanks for looking as always! Nick Oakes
