I just recieved my bottle of NXT 2.0 today. I wont have a chance to really use it until tomorrow when I have to wax a black Escalade. For our american friends, Ill explainn why this is a big deal. We cannot buy this stuff yet for at least several months, until the beginning of summer. So Im pretty freakin excited to have a bottle broght back with my stepdad from Arizona. I did a bit of testing today, and I found that it drys WAY faster than the last batch. I let it flash for around 10 min. and it was good to go. It also has no streaking. Ill try and remember to bring my camera tomorrow and get a step by step.
I've got a bottle of it and still have yet to get a chance to use it. I've read alot of good things about it on several detailing web sites.
Does it have fillers? Oh hell yes. I did some comparisions on a black Escalade on Friday. Ill post the pics asap. Yes. it is way better than the old stuff.. it dries way faster. 15 min and its ready to wipe off. Its still a bit greasy though. a few microfibers gets it off or a wipe down after with a QD works. for a OTC wax, its pretty amazing. it filled scratches and gave the truck a good gloss. Its not super shiny, but gives it a incredible glow, i guess due to the filling ability, at the expence of clarity. As far a duribility, i dnno yet. I guess its way better. Anyhow, as a quick wax or for a customer foolproof wax, this is it. I will only use this when i need too though. I have other products that I use more regularly simply because I want more depth of image. But good product though. Any thoughts?
sweet we want pics .... more pic..... So would you recomend we buy it? wait for more info? or stay away? TIA
DB members hear fillers and turn there noses up.. they have there place and should not be dismissed at the drop of a hat.... Ok we are al buffers, can buff and do buff. We want a perfect finsih but htis is not always the case. NXT is a OTC line, meaning alot of the people picking it up dont or cannot buff.. this means they want something that will hide there swirls... no so unreasoable.... also there are cars that cannot be buffed, the clear is to thing... example, my dads park avenue. It dosnt have alot of clear left and wont be polished again...so what do you use? You need something with fillers. I dont belive in lying to people and saying its been buffed, or using it to offer a polish to remove swirls, however like evrything in the detailing world. There is a time and a place for fillers
lol its an old saying... "the pot calling the kettle black".. meaning dont call people out on flaws you also have... I was just making fun of you.... next time ill go slower :iddi: hah im just giving you a hard time :badidea:
OK .. Here are a few pics. Before and after.... Clayed and ready for 2.0... 07 Escalade, 36 000km, never cared for .. this is after one coat of 2.0.. 20 min dry time..... pretty snazzy eh??
