This JDM banana had swirls, RIDS, marrs, and wax residue. The clear coat was rock hard and required more hours than expected to complete. Corrected pics only show the first step and not after the second step was done. Mirror crevice. The last so called detailer left residue everywhere. Corrected Hood - Water spots, RIDS, and swirls. Corrected Hood and right fender Corrected Passenger door Corrected A-pillar Corrected Rear hatch C-pillar Corrected Left rear fender Corrected Done Mirror crevice cleaned
I always wanted one of those cars. Looks good. Yellow only looks good when freshly detailed. Even a little bad and it just looks like crap. Great turnaround.
Thanks guys! The weather was funky yesterday and I didn't get the sun shots that I usually do. Metallic flake is present
Yup. I couldn't believe that there so much of it Ken. Some places ok are understandable. Others were :spank:
Very nice job Drew! Yellow is a tough color to work on sometimes, but it looks great when it's done. :thumb:
Thanks Mike. The defects were everywhere that you can see them with the naked eye. The clear coat was maybe the only thing that I found hard to work on.
This is one my favorite yellows (the other one being the Dakar Yellow). I love these cars ... timeless design. Awesome work!!
Thanks! It's cars like these that test your ability to correct and finish properly. Yes, this yellow stands out. Thanks
