    Hey,

Sorry I have not posted in a while. Things have been a little hectic the past week.

Anyways so the past couple of days I spent my time at the Porsche dealership on a trade in that was in horrendous condition. It was my first detail at that dealership and the people there were great. Although it was disappointing that someone would treat a car, any car the way the previous owner treated this beauty.

During the inspection stage the roof and rear hatch had particularly low paint reading and was hit with the PC DA with a much less aggresive combination.

Please excuse some of the untouched wheel wells. The car was washed by their "detailer" and sat in the bay. I did a quick ONR on the paintwork and went at it.

Whoops one last thing. I was only to address the paintwork at the request of the client.

    Anyways enough of my babbling.

    Enjoy,
    Nick

Fantastic turnaround, that thing was in a sorry state indeed. A little undercarriage spray would have really finished it off...

it looks awsome! just curious, do you charge them by the hour (and how much per hour) or did you quote on hte whole job. if you quoted, did you take longer than expected? I have done a few jobs for the infiniti dealer down here and i have quoted them which is not how i like to do it..although i always give a range, it seems like i'm always at the top of the range, not the bottom. lol. you should have a good source of work there..good for you!:headbang:

Thanks. Definitely if given the go ahead I would have taken her outside and washed her down completely.

    Thanks

    Thanks

    Thank you :)

Definitely. I agree about the undercarriage. Keep me on my toes P1et :) You complete me :p

Hey richy, usually with private clients I charge per hour. In special circumstances where it is both beneficial for me and the client ie. dealership I may provide a package deal in order to solidify future jobs regardless of how long it may take me to complete. Like Nica taught me through a thread... just bust your butt and the work will come. I also learned from this job that it's always nice to do as good a job as possible without letting the dealership worry too much about the cost. The salesmen and shop manager was promoting me before I even left the shop. I already have two potential clients set up because they spoke to highly of me. I appreciate how they respected my opinion and understood the need to pass on quality clients to me.

    Hope this helps richy.

Thanks J Bell and regarding the wheel well. Will do :D

Some serious work there on some seriously stuffed paint.

Pitty the Porsches in the US have to have those funny bulges on the bumpers.

Thanks :) My photo skills are less than stellar and is still leaving me wanting lol.

Yes, they aren't the most pretty things but I am assuming they are more utilitarian than anything else? Perhaps a little hummer in it? lol j/k
