Hey everyone, A client brought his 128i for me to detail. The car was one year old and the only main issue was huge amounts of rail dust. That was his main concern that he wanted me to look at. I also gave the car a one step polish. He also requested that his summers be detailed as well. Here are the results. I apologize for not having before and after pictures. Time was not on my side. Please mind the dirt in the mounted wheels. Client decided to only get his summers detailed. With the time I had I did a light detail on his winters that were mounted. Hope you enjoy. -Nikku Process Meguiars Gold Car Wash Stoner Invisible Glass Stoner Tarminator OPT QID P21S TAW P21S Metal Polish PB's Leather Stuff PB's Natural Stuff Folex 303 Aerospace Protectant Summer Wheels P21s Wheel Cleaner OPT Opti-Seal PB's Wheelwax Clay: OPT QID as lube Riccardo Yellow Clay Riccardo Blue Clay Paint Correction: Menzerna 106FF Sonus Blue Protection: Opti-Seal LSP: Victoria Red Concours Optimum Car Wax Equipment: Defelsko P6000 Ridgid Wet/Dry Vac Brinkman Metabo PE12-175 PC DA 3M Backing Plate Karcher Pressure Washer Globe 1000w Halogen x 2 Globe 500w Halogen Befores Rail dust and tar yuck ! Afters These tires was a huge challenge. P21S Wheel Cleaner barely put a dent in the grime that was on the inside of the wheel. I had to use a lot of umpphhh to get most of the grime out. * I can't wait for my steamer!
excellent detail looks amazing, gotta love the 1 series although I don't think those OEM rims go well with that car
He has 19's ready to go for the summer I think they look much better than the oem winters he has mounted.
nice detail. have you tried CG Grime Reaper on very soiled wheels yet? mixed at a higher concentration it works very well.
I haven't had a chance to try Grime Reaper. I don't have issues cleaning the face of the wheel but it's when I get unmounted wheels is where I run into problems. Thanks for the advice I'll give it a whirl. Cheers! Nick
