Night Shots/Beading

Discussion in 'Detailing Bliss Lounge' started by Joshs2013MSAltimaSL, Feb 5, 2011.

  1. Hi everyone!

Went out tonight after the rain to take some night shots. I did most of the shooting in manual mode and varied the shutter speed and aperture and the others were shot in regular night mode. I also used a standard 18-70mm lens along with my 75-300 zoom lens.

The wax of choice was AG HD which has been on for about 2 weeks now and has gone through rain, a body shop wash, and more rain. Enjoy!!

Josh did you get your car back from the shop already after the incident? I like the shots man looks great!

  7. Thanks for the compliments!

I'm using a Sony Alpha 100. It's such a great camera, especially when you get into the lens market.

    Thanks man!

Yep! I dropped it off on Monday and picked it up on Thursday morning. He said I can't seal it for about 2 months.

Wow nice beading action on your Z! So the AGHD offers great protection I assume? How would you rank its durability? Thanks!

my wife thinks I am weird, i was out taking pics of water beading on my car last time it rained........ if they only understood. LOL.

    Looks good.

  11. I'm about 20 minutes north of Tampa, FL.

AG HD has great durability. It's kind of the best of carnauba and synthetic mixed into one pot. And it's on sale at Wal-Mart for only $20.

Lol...my fiancee said the same thing. What's funny is that my friend was also outside taking pictures of his beading. She came out and said "woooww..." and then walked back in lol.

Wax of choice was 3 coats of Vic Mayhem, 3 coats of Vic Chaos (Applied 2 months ago), and 1 coat of Vic Red (applied last month)
Pictures were taken after driving in pouring rain.
