What are your thoughts on the new Rupes 12E Duetto and LHR 75E Mini? http://bigfootrupes.com/products/ Hopefully Phil and Kevin Brown will get them and provide their review of the machines.
I don't believe the official SEMA release has happened yet. Phil is at SEMA and I'm sure he will report back. I've been bugging him about it ever since I heard about these machines. Stay tuned!
Smaller chassis that might be a little bit less heavy and easier to handle around tight spots. I'm interested in the 75E. I was hoping that they were going to release something that accepted 4in pads, but 3in will work just fine. I bet that 75E is going to be a little beast for HLR work.
I have the 75 LHR and love it but there are times I need to use it not where I have my compressor. Hence the need for the 75E . Plus to add I sure whish someone would sell the Bigfoot caps I see on their site. I would definitely pickup a couple of those.http://bigfootrupes.com/products/bigfoot-cap/
Got to try both out at the Rupes SEMA booth plus the Rupes penlight. Saw the new slotted mf pads also but didn't have a chance to try .Loved the power of the 3" machine compared my old Griots 3". Now I'm tore between the LHR75 and the new "E" model. I have a large compressor or two lol but the e model is sweet. I like the idea of the smaller framed 12" since I already have a 21 it would compliment my set IMO.
After playing with them at SEMA and feeling the power they have, I put my order in with Mr. Kevin Brown on the spot....for both machines. The MF pads are good too. Work them hard and they stay cool.
- Were you able to get the Duetto to bog down under pressure? I'm trying to put the Duetto up against the LHR15 here. Kind regards, Ebbe
It appears that the Duetto and Mini can only be bought in a kit form. Duetto kit about $500 bucks and Mini about $450.
I think that's just in the beginning. They will release just the machine some time next year according to AG.
True and they are not getting very good response to the kit deal. Hope they read the reviews and drop the kits.
