Well. I received my shipment of additional pads and some Powerlock. I've been using SV Mirage (personal jury out on this-but it has lasted a lot longer than I expected) . About 2 weeks or so ago I received some Naviwax. Now if this Jersey weather would cooperate I could get to work.
I'm curious why you say "personal jury out on this" in referring to the SV Mirage? What do you mean by this?
I love the ease of application-the smell is fantastic(not that high on my priority list-but I find myself taking a whiff a little too often). I'm not sure how much it added to my final product. After correction, I topped my light Bright Silver and really didn't see much in the way of any warm glow. My metallic still prevalent. I want to try the Powerlock and see if anything changes . Again this is all subjective to my eye
Hmmm, interesting. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I really like Mirage. I find (like you said) it goes on/off like butter, smells like mango or passion fruit, lends a nice warn nuba glow, helps to shed dirt when washing, and sheets water nicely...
I have a black truck( that I don't use it on and the wife has a darker red. My truck which is 4 years older than the car looks great. Light Silver is a pain Now there is the stuff I paint. I do a color sand after. This detailing at a higher level is new to me .I thank everyone her for all the input. Nice looking 'stang
silver is the worst colour for trying to evaluate a carnauba, I only ever use a sealant from what I've read mirage seems to strike the best balance in the sv lineup bw cost and looks
