    Hey fellas,

A few weeks back, I posted up about the new pads I began using - so, far love them!! They work pretty well just don't last long - they delam pretty quickly! Just took delivery of a two more cases and got in on a new 2" thick pad!! Looks pretty cool!!! Previously, 1.75" was it for the SM Arnold line. Keep you posted on the big fatty pads!!!!

What size are the pads that you've already tried and how did the compare to Lake Country?

Just read your above post about them not lasting long. What do you mean by delaming?

I think he means separating from the velcro.

Any idea what the benefit is of such a thick pad?

Maybe teh benefit of a thick pad is realized when you don't have a 3m or other padded bp?

I was wondering the same thing

How many uses (hours) did you get before delam?

Well, oddly, I tried them (the 1 3/4" thick on the 430 I just finished. I went straight to 105 with one of these 80 PPI pads (well, two of these pads) and I got what I posted http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/f47/end-month-11979.html I was actualy shocked that they performed so well!! The thicker, at least my understanding, is an older design from back when the PC came out. Not quite as much control as with the smaller pad. But, I thought I would grab a few for grins - used one of the used ones for applying Danase Water Spot Remover, totally melted it!!l. So, IME, the downside is they don't last too long. But, they do work pretty well!!
