Wow, that is alot for a light, Dont think it would be a 10x improvement over a TK11, to justify the price. But try it out and see how it is, it might be too bright and cause it to pretty much "blind" you from seeing the imperfections.

    For OCD, no way :)

Holy crap guys I was kidding!! It 3500 lumens! The TK11 by comparison is only 225. That thing would distract low flying aircraft LOL

Well if you blind them, then they will think the car was soo shiny that it blinded them. It can also be great if you get lost, kind of like the bat signal! hehe.

The TK40 may be something to look into? Probably great for camping and stuff.

    Carn Welcome to Detailing

I tested out a new LED based torch on this past weekends detail. It is a LED Lenser P7 which is rated at 170 lumens. On the brightest setting with the beam focused on the paint it actually washes out some of the swirling. Focusing the beam away from the paint yielded far better results so I don't think excessive brightness is ideal for swirl spotting IMO.

You guys should try your TK11s at night sometime - shine them down your street. It's pretty amazing how far that thing will go.
