Finally broke the machine polisher cherry with a Porter Cable which I got from Ken at Autowerkesexclusive.


In addition to the Porter Cable I also got

2 x Lake Country CCS Orange Pad 5.25 in

Very happy with everything. Ken was very helpful in answering my questions regarding the use of the porter cable and helped me choose pads and polish for a first timer. Since I live relatively close to autowerkes I suspect I'll be returning quite often for more goodies!

Quick question, how do you like those Malco products? Every use their car wash soap?

The flash wax is easy to apply and easy to wipe off, however it does get quite dusty. Leaves a slick finish and has a bit of fillers for minor swirls. It also has a nice fruity cherry scent to it, I am always tempted to taste it.:crasy:

 

My Chemical Guys order came in!!!!

3 packs of 3 Monster Towels (9 in total, 6 for me)
3 packs of 12 Super towels (36 in total, 24 for me)
Gallon of citrus wash and clear
and Zymol Titanium as side order from autoanything.


They forgot to ship my Miracle dryer towel and jetseal, so I gave them a call and they will be sending it out on friday. sigh

The Brown Royal is awesome on wheels with baked on break dust. I bought a gallon and have had a lot of success on some wheels that have not been washed in over 4 months

 

An update to my current setup:
Bunch of Sterilite boxes for my towels

Some spray bottles with IPA, CG CWC paintwork cleanser dilution, Zep glass cleaner, Zep citrus degreaser at 4:1 and full strength and a bottle of Meguiars Quick Detailer

Work lamp, ZEP products and a cooler for all the chemicals when winter hits.
