So my gf and I are getting ready to get our first place. The new house has a 2 car garage unattached from the house. Because this garage has a sink as well as massive amounts of room I am thinking of storing all my products in the garage. however I am worried about the massive heat and cold (it is heated) Is this a good idea or are there certain products that I should store in a cool place like the basement?
What part of the country do you live in? I've never had any issues leaving all my products in the garage with no climate control at all, and I live in Texas where the temps can fluctuate from low 20s to the 100s throughout the year.
Out of curiosity, is the garage finished? If not you could add some insulation to give you a bit of peace of mind.
It is not however I am planning on working on that. It does have a insulated ceiling but it needs to be redone.
