Yep I saw that and kind of wish i got that instead of the current flex rotary, for the lower and more usable working speed..but oh well still happy with my investment!

 

Gives me time to save. Looks like the improvements are nice features, heat being one of them.
It still seemed a little loud, or maybe it seemed that way from the audio on the video? Will wait and see how this model performs after it gets in the hands of everyday users.

 

Sounds as loud as the current Flex out there...

Would you say this would be a better unit than the Makita 9227 CX3 I have been wanting to purchase the Makita but haven't yet. I am wondering if the price range is going to be about the same also if the new Flex is really worth waiting for.

 

when working with a rotary, I believe it all depends on how it feels in your hands. I have a Makita and flex 3403 light rotary. I'm more comfortable with the flex, mainly because I'm new to rotary and the flex design. I will sell my makita to get this!!

 

What's the price tag?

 

I was contacted by Festool USA., they said The shinex will be in the US around the beginning of the year . I would like to compare both before pulling the trigger ...

honestly i hope soon, we got the info late last week.

I believe we will have them in Jan.

No price has been released yet.
