So my mom just bought a 2011 Ford Edge. I looked at the build date and it was October. Being that it was assembled anywhere between 30 and 60 days ago, am I in the clear to wax it yet?
I don't want it to go into winter with no protection on it, but I also don't want to possible compromise the paint

Have at it! Anytime after 30 days is typically fine.

IMO the factory paint is baked to cure on the spot so it can harden and not be damaged or sensitive during the build and transport. As long as its not body shop work, your goood!

Thanks for the quick replies! I'll feel better about doing it now that I have the reassurance that it won't do any harm. I'm excited because the dealership actually followed my request that they don't touch the vehicle, and I looked at it under the lights in my garage and there aren't any swirls or scratches!
