Bought this car from a lady that bought it in 1997 with 89 miles. Sold it to her son, and he turboed it on a stock d16y8 1.6l motor. I am currently at 11psi on a t3/t04e .50 trim. Hit full boost around 4.5-5k rev to 7k My plans for it: Send block to laskey racing to have it honed, decked, CP pistons, Eagle Rods, and all the other goodies I don't feel like listing. After that I will be upgrading the turbo to a .60 trim and a new Ram Horn Manifold and a 3" downpipe and 1000cc injectors. I am hoping by summer I will have my block built. I will keep ya'll updated. I will get more pictures also after i detail it for Spring. I will be def. doing a lot more than just those few things, but it was just to give you an idea what to expect. I am hoping to be at 300-350WHP Daily Driven by next summer. MOTOR: Stock D16Y8 with 144k miles. Wow, you could sneek up(past) on someone with that plain red wrapper. One (me) would never suspected such power.
I have it at 11psi which I dynoed at 235hp to the wheels in a ~2,400 lb car. Hoping to build the block and hit 300-320 daily driver.
Man that's a lot of modifications on that bad boy :thumb: Sounds like it's going to be a great ride, look forward to the transformation. Thank you for sharing the pictures, vehicle looks great.
Man that's a nice Civic...I'll show this to my friend he LOVES Hondas. His Civic is red like yours . That's really nice, no rust on the exterior!
