guess who is getting a new accord......in black EX-L V6? Next weekend! I dont think I will be able to sleep for a week! This will be awesome!!!
She will be BLACK...so I am kind of worried, but it shouldn't be too bad. I will take tons and tons of pictures when she comes.
New? Second hand? Either way congrats!! I had an 86 civic in high school....bought it with 170k and added another 45to it before selling it to my sis who rang up another 30 before her selling it. The cv joints had just been done when I purchased it. In all that time her nor I put a dime into it mechanically....not a penny. I taught two girl friends how to drive a standard with it and my sis how to do a burnout with it. Absolutely amazingly reliable and tough cars. You wont go wrong with it.

Hell ya. In black...2008 one looks so good . The thing is I haven't test driven the V6...my parents kind of impulse bought it. I drove the I4 and our usual dealership (we have bought 4 hondas from them). We called up another dealership and got the EX-L V6 for the price of the EX I4. I would have been happy with an EX...but this is just so much more.

I hate waiting...I think I am going to call them up and get them not to wash it. The only option I got was a cargo hook (yes I am a baller like that I paid $30 cashhhh moooneey for that). I hope the Accord is fun to drive.
Say what :what: your going to let them wash your vehicle :gasp: :gasp: :gasp: I don't know, I don't let the dealership wash my car...I just don't trust them touching my car...well besides the maintenance that is :
I am not sure if the will wash it or not. I think they will remove the glue for me, which would take me a long time to do on my own. I think I have 5oz of body solvent left. The maintenance is great from this dealership. The drop me off an a car similar to mine . So Gen 7 (my old car) or an Gen8...my new car that isn't here yet.
Removing the blue off brand new vehicles is not tha bad to be honest, I did it to my vehicle and I took my time on it..it is abit of a pain but I rather do it my self then have somone else do it...besides who knows what the dealership would use? but sounds like this dealership is an exeption. I kind of trust T&T honda...we were good for 5 hondas...and then they got rid of all of the good/nice sales people , so we left. The ones from high river. They said that might even be able to put it on a truck, so it doesn't go up 160K every time I have it serviced. I plan on doing my own oil changes anyway. After I am done with that Honda break in oil I am free!
Really High River Honda said they would consider putting your vehicle on a truck for service, wow can't say I've ever heard of a Honda dealership doing that but that's good to know. Looks like dealerships are starting to change there customer service mentality :thumb: good to see. Oh by the way, when I got my vehicle I noticed it had some yellow resedue product on the engine compartment...apperently that yellowish resedue is sprayed on at the manufacturing plant and it's for shipping purpose... that's what I was told at the dealership but I've also seen it on other brand new vehicles I've detailed..well the point is that it's a pain in the but to remove..I used lots of P21S Total Autowash and my Swissol brush to remove it. I'm assuming your new car will have it too, let me know if it does come with it.
