I figured Id start out by posting a few details I have done in the past. I've browsed through the site many times before but never really posted anything...so here it goes First off a IS 350 Lexus: Detailed a IS 350 . Took about8 hours or so and it wasnt too bad. Just kept getting side tracked. I did need to break out the Optimum Hyper Compound though. Other than that and mud in the back seat (kids) it was nice. It was also topped with Migliore Primo... No befores... Primo in action: Afters: There's more, but I think this is plenty. Next is a C6 Vette: Took me 6 hours. The owner wanted every inch touched, including the gaps between the roof. This was also topped with Migliore Primo Before: After: There's more pics... but this should be sufficient Next is VW GLI: Starting out with a VW GLI 1.8T with some extra mods. The owner washes it about 1x a week, so it stays fairly clean, but we recently had a dirty rain come though. Starting out: Cleaned up the engine bay some: And after.... This picture I tried NOT to get a reflection.... and the rest of the car.... Keep in mind most of these pictures were taken with overcast and very little light. It still managed to shine like crazy though. Sun finally came out so I snapped some more: and probably my favorite pic: Next Lexus SUV: It has been washed ONCE since I detailed it for them over ONE YEAR AGO. Surprising enough, I really didn't have to clay it. I think the degreaser helped me out on that one Products used: -Wash -Clay -SSR2 -Poorboy's Polish W/ Sealant -Red Moose Glaze -Migliore Original Paste Wax Before: Washing was a pain, due to the fact I ran outa water pressure: Headlights got a little resto. Before + After pic: And After: This is what came outa the carpets: Leather finally cleaned: And floormats SEMI clean. Actually it came out a lot better than I was expecting. I They're getting new ones anyways, but I decided to see what I could do: And how bout one more: 04 Sierra here's a list of what I used -Wash -Clay -Optimum Compound -SSR2 -Poorboys Polish w/ Sealant -Poorboys Whit Diamond on top tone -Poorboys Black Hole on bottom tone -Migliore Original Paste Wax Migliore Wheel Sealant Now for pictures. 1st night = complete trash After: With Migliore Wheel Sealant sitting on wheels Wheel Sealant after: OK so I think this is good for right now... i have a hundred more I could post, but I'm relatively certain that would be a little too much
Thanks! Me too. I'd love to just work on trucks only but I do enjoy it all Here's mine after a 3 day detail: Thank you. The wheel sealant is real nice. Goes on easy, comes off even easier. The wheels weren't 100% clean either and on removal, it has SOME cleaning ability. It also last a really long time. I do 2 coats ever couple months or so and it works great. Thank you
very nice work! couple quick questions...what kind of machine are you using on carpeting? and where do you get those orange spray bottles? me want some-a those haha. that truck really looks great. i love the Jetta GLI also. looks like its an APR StageIII car. zoom zoom!
For the carpets I use a Bissel Little Green Machine. Seems to work alright. As far as the spray bottles, they're a double spray type thing and work amazing. I'll have to grab the name for you a little later as I'm no where near them. I got them from my ex-girlfriends work so I can't get any more or I'd open up shop for you...haha The Jetta was fun to work on. The end results made it even more so. The Migliore Primo really pulled off a nice finish on it. Thanks for all the compliments
i was gonna ask if you knew whos greasy lifted silverado that is in one of the reflexxion shots.. whats the specs on the truck? i got a 99 but it went down the opposite direction
I believe you are on GMfullsize as well? All specs are there, but its a 6"suspension, 3" body, 37" Mud Grapplers on 20" MKW 26's. Just to put it simply...haha. The front end is all cut up right now as I'm building a completely new bumper with winch and light bar setup.
Vehicles look great :thumb: I like those spray bottles too, I've got two of the large containers. They work quite well :cheerl:
