Is anyone here streaming Netflix through their PS3? If, so how is the quality? Is it worth it to pay $2.00 for blue ray or can you even tell a difference with streaming? We have always rented blue rays from Blockbuster, but you can't be the Netflix $8.99 a month program especially if the unlimited streaming is worth it.
I don't stream Netflix through PS3, but through my Xbox. Watching Spartacus right now actually lol. The quality is really good, it's based off of your connection speed and can stream full 1080p quality. HD is not offered on all streaming movies - I'm not sure why. However the shows that are not in HD are still smooth and good quality. The selection is pretty good, but I wish they would add more things to the instant streaming more often.
I stream through both my PS3 and my 360. Really just depends on which controller I get to first. The quality is pretty good actually. The better your internet connection the better the quality.
