I know it seems to be the big obvious question everybody asks... but going to any ways! I need some Ideas for mobile detailing products that can be used in the sun if I would actually have to? Plus cost effective yet premium would optimum be a good pick? since the majority of the products they make can be used for almost everything! I wont be doing detailing just car cleaning for now, got to start small!
Meguiars Detailing line is honestly the most cost effective next to chemical guys. Not as "boutique" as some of the other stuff, but if maximum profits is your goal, you want good solid inexpensive quality products. I have been using their stuff for years, and it flat out just works. Optimum is a very good line, I use that as well. Depends on what you are getting, Is it premium, depends on what you define as premium. If you are starting small that is awesome, best bang for the buck is to buy the products in a gallon that dilute, that way a gallon can stretch 10,20, 30 or more cars.
I use alot of the Meguiar's Detailing Line and love it, best bang for you buck and they work. Hyperwash, Glass Cleaner, Super Degreaser, All Purpose Plus...good stuff! Get some ONR too, clay lube for cheap!
Like these guys said, Meguiars detailing line for your degreaser, all purpose cleaner, window cleaner, etc... Optimum for there NO rinse but besides that I find the Meguiars stuff is better.
Optimum Car Wash is a standout as well IMO. ZEP at home depot is killer as well! ZEP Citrus and Purple Degreaser are both great inexpensive products. They also have a tint-safe dilutable window cleaner, but I have not tried it.
I have tried some of megs DL products good stuff! Been wanting to try out the ONR... Has anyone tried the megs DL spray wax they have revised?
I meant better than some of the volume company products like automagic and ardex, among others that dealers and fly-by-night detailers like to use!
LOL............I have never even heard of those companies until you just posted that. I have to agree on the zeps, Ive used Opt Powerclean, Meguiars APC, Super degreaser, Zeps orange, purple and honestly Zeps line is what I keep coming back too, even their glass cleaner is top notch. Ive used purple on tires, wheel barrels, under carriage etc and it really works well and is very inexpensive. I still use Opti Clean, Opti bond for various other tasks, as well as other products like chemical guys, but Megs detailer line is really my go to line. The interior detailer is outstanding, it cleans very well and leaves a silky matte finish.
