Need some help with wheels...

Im trying to clean some tar specs off of my dodge durango's wheels and trying to get the wheel barrells clean and plus my daytona wheel brush just snapped!:applause: any suggestions for a good tar remover and wheel brush?

 

Use some kerosene to remove the tar and get a race glaze wheel brush. Pakshak just got some brushes in.

Sucks.

 

Are these race glaze brushes more durable than the daytonas?

 

Im in the process of testing that out Got both, used both 2 times. RG is a better barrel brush as it just 'fits' while I can only use the EZ (same as daytona) on the rear wheels.

BTW I heard that the EZ can last VERY long if not bent often and by shaking it from the stem rather than the handle.

 

Tardis will do the trick.

someone mentioned Xylol + mineral spirits for a tar remover a few days ago.

 

the race glaze xl wheel brush is made by jesus himself.

 

Raceglaze XL Wheel Brush or DD Uber Spoke Brush for good scrubbing power for wheel barrels. EZ Detail Brush for maintaining fairly clean wheel barrels.

Stoner Tarminator, CG Grime Reaper, 3M Adhesive Remover, etc. will all remove tar without any problems. Follow the directions according to the product.

Yes it is very sturdy. Can't see why they can't use a heavier wire on the EZ and Daytonas. Even the minie is flimsy.
