Need help with a foam gun....

That's the same set up I have works great!
All you need to do is get the quick disconnects and the trigger handle. Bob

I have both a foam canon and a foam lance (for the pressure washer) I find they do pretty much the same thing, they coat the car with foam to loosen the dirt.
When I'm home washing my car I use the one that goes on the hose, when I'm doing a mobile client I use the pressure one with my mobile set up. Bob
